  • Additions and bump-outs
  • Accessory dwellings, shops, garages, barns
  • Small commercial builds and tenant build-outs

What's Included in a New Construction Electrical Package

  1. Pre-construction planning — load calculation, panel sizing, service planning
  2. Service entrance — utility coordination, meter base, mast, grounding
  3. Rough-in — boxes, runs, switch legs, dedicated circuits
  4. Lighting plan — recessed layouts, fixture coordination, dimmers, switching
  5. Low voltage rough-in — security, AV, ethernet (as scoped)
  6. Trim-out — devices, fixtures, fan installs
  7. Inspections and final hookup

Why Plan the Electrical Early

The most expensive electrical change is the one made after drywall. We come in early, walk the plan with you, and help nail down:

  • Where the panel goes (and how big)
  • How many circuits the kitchen actually needs
  • Where to plan for an EV charger now (even if it's later)
  • Generator rough-in for future install
  • Outdoor power, shop power, well power
  • Smart switch and dimmer layouts

Common Questions

Answers Before You Call.

Do you wire custom homes?
Yes. New construction is a big part of what we do. We work directly with homeowners building custom and with GCs on full builds.
Can you handle additions and accessory dwellings?
Yes. Additions, ADUs, detached garages, shops, barns, and pool houses — we handle the service, sub-panel sizing, and full wiring.
Do you do low-voltage and structured wiring during rough-in?
We can coordinate or pre-run for ethernet, security, and AV during electrical rough-in. Scope it with us up-front.
When should I bring in the electrician on a new build?
Before framing is closed in — earlier is better. Pre-construction planning saves rework, saves change orders, and gets the lighting and panel sized right.
